Trouble accessing our courses?

Here are some possible reasons - and solutions.
Cache issue
If a page is displaying incorrectly, try triggering a hard refresh by:
  • Pressing Ctrl and F5 at the same time, on Windows computers.
  • Pressing Cmd, Shift and R, on Mac computers.
Firewall issue
To ensure your security online, it's possible that your school's firewall has been set up to block a blanket range of sites, including ours and/or those of the hosting services we use. If that is the case, please ask your IT department to whitelist the following domains:
Video display issue
If the videos in the courses do not play, it's possible that your school's firewall is blocking all video content providers in general. If that is the case, please ask your IT department to whitelist our video hosting provider Wistia, by following these instructions.
Unsupported hardware and software issue
Please be aware that some hardware and software that are no longer supported by Microsoft may no longer work with more modern websites and software. Known issues affect users with systems running Windows XP or those using Internet Explorer as their browser.
If you are part of the latter, browsers that definitely work with the InnerDrive Online Academy when kept up-to-date include:
  • Google Chrome
  • Safari
  • Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
London Grid for Learning issue
We recently discovered that the London Grid for Learning, which centrally manages firewalls for many schools in the UK, has an aggressive blocking policy, which they only discuss with and modify on behalf of their clients.
If your school is a client, please get your IT department to contact them at 0208 255 5555 to make the change. And if you could put in a good word for us and suggest that they whitelist us globally while on this call, we would appreciate it...
